PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with seven nation army blaring out of the sound system. Malcolm Master acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson moves into the clinch.
Master drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johnson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Johnson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Johnson stands up from guard. Let's bang!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Johnson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Johnson pushes Master back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Master is fighting off a takedown attempt but Johnson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Master to the mat. Master regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Master keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Johnson is sitting in close to Master's body. Master has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Master.
