Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dizzy Trechner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by (Matallica) Ride the lightning. Brooks has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Dizzy Trechner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Brooks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dizzy Trechner! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks blocks a head kick by Trechner.
Trechner lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Trechner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trechner connects with a solid leg kick. A head kick misses from Trechner. Good exchange - Trechner coming out on top. Brooks fails with the takedown. Brooks fails with a takedown attempt. Brooks is breathing heavily. Trechner throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Trechner misses with a two punch combination.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trechner but Trechner pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brooks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Trechner. That's going to slow Brooks down. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trechner throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease. Trechner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brooks on the side of the head. Trechner misses with the combination.

Trechner moves into range and clinches up with Brooks. Trechner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Trechner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Trechner has Brooks pressed against the cage.
Trechner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Trechner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brooks. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Trechner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Brooks darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Trechner tries to kick Brooks off but Brooks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks seems to be working for a kimura but Trechner defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Trechner is trying to stand up here but Brooks is controlling him well. Brooks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brooks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Trechner sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trechner is trying to stand.
Brooks is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Trechner wants to get back to his feet.
Brooks is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Trechner has managed to free his arm - good work. Trechner is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks is trying to work for a kimura but Trechner is defending well.
Trechner pushes Brooks off and gets back to his feet. Brooks dives in and grabs Trechner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trechner pushes down on Brooks's head and hops out. Brooks ducks right into an uppercut from Trechner. Brooks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Trechner swivels and escapes. Trechner fails to land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trechner throws a half hearted mid kick. Brooks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trechner's waist but Trechner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brooks off to one side. Brooks shoots in but no luck this time. Trechner throws a sloppy head kick and Brooks moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dizzy Trechner dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Trechner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Brooks is out of range. Trechner stuffs the takedown. Trechner lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Trechner throws a head kick but Brooks moves out of range.
Trechner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brooks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trechner's waist but Trechner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brooks off to one side. Trechner throws a nice looking combination but Brooks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Brooks blocks a head kick by Trechner.
Trechner stuffs the takedown attempt from Brooks. Brooks gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trechner lands with a kick to the temple. Brooks shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Trechner gets in close and instigates a clinch. Trechner is trying to break the clinch but Brooks has him pressed against the cage. Trechner is trying to break the clinch but Brooks has him pressed against the cage. Brooks prevents Trechner from breaking the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Trechner is trying to force a seperation but Brooks has the dominant position. Trechner is trying to push Brooks away but Brooks has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Trechner wants to get back to striking at distance but Brooks won't allow it.
Brooks is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Trechner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Trechner manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Brooks or perhaps it was just good defense by Trechner which made him look bad. Dizzy Trechner seems to be getting the better of the standup. Trechner darts in and clinches Brooks up against the cage. Brooks has Trechner pressed against the cage, preventing Trechner from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Trechner is trying to break free. Brooks keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Trechner's efforts to push away. Trechner is looking to break free of the clinch but Brooks has double underhooks. Brooks wants a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trechner tries to circle away but Brooks has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Trechner's face as he tries to break the clinch. Brooks is looking for a takedown. Trechner is trying to break the clinch but Brooks is controlling him. Trechner throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trechner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dizzy Trechner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

They are putting on a show! Trechner leaves Brooks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brooks shoots in for a takedown but Trechner shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Now Trechner has his back to the cage. Trechner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brooks.
And that's the end of the fight! Dizzy Trechner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Trechner winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
