Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Koreshkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanislav Romanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Koreshkov! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koreshkov instigates a clinch. Koreshkov gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Romanov wants to sweep but no luck. Koreshkov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Romanov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Romanov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Koreshkov manages to get himself to full guard.
Romanov prevents Koreshkov from getting back to his feet. Romanov trying to control but Koreshkov is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Romanov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Koreshkov drives through with a takedown into guard. Romanov has control of Koreshkov's left arm, preventing Koreshkov from doing any damage. Romanov looking to control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stanislav Romanov. Koreshkov takes the fight into the clinch. Koreshkov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Romanov can't fight it off and eventually Koreshkov manages to take the fight to the floor. Romanov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Romanov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Romanov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Romanov trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koreshkov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koreshkov trying to control but Romanov is working from the bottom. Koreshkov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Koreshkov is stalling in the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andrey Koreshkov wasn't active enough on the ground. Koreshkov closes the distance and clinches. Koreshkov tightens his grip and picks Romanov up, before dumping him to the ground. Romanov manages to land in guard. Koreshkov looking to sit in guard and control but Romanov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Koreshkov looks gassed! Romanov throwing strikes but missing. Koreshkov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Romanov wants to control from the top but Koreshkov keeps moving. Koreshkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Romanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Romanov looking to pass the guard.

Romanov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koreshkov's waist but Koreshkov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Romanov off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanislav Romanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Romanov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koreshkov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Romanov slows the pace down in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrey Koreshkov dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Romanov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Koreshkov's waist but Koreshkov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Romanov off to one side. Koreshkov gets caught napping as Romanov dives in and scores a takedown. Koreshkov manages to retain guard. Romanov won't allow Koreshkov to get back to his feet. Romanov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Stanislav Romanov overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Romanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koreshkov swivels though and keeps the full guard. Koreshkov wants to stand and escape but Romanov is having none of it. Koreshkov is breathing heavily. Romanov wants to control from the top but Koreshkov keeps moving. Romanov drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Romanov seems to have locked his on tight now - Koreshkov screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Romanov, as he picks up the win!
