Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Woo Petz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Collins! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collins tries to work over Petz's front leg with a kick but Petz checks it. Tommy Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Petz dives in and scores a takedown into Collins's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Petz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Petz trying to control but Collins is working from the bottom. Collins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Petz looking to sit in guard and control but Collins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Petz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Petz seems keen to control Collins's posture. Petz working for a triangle but Collins defends it easily.
Collins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tommy Collins wasn't active enough on the ground. Collins thumps Petz with a low kick. Collins looks for the body kick but Petz saw that one coming. Collins attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Petz moves out of range of the leg kick from Collins. A head kick misses from Collins. Collins throws a sloppy head kick and Petz moves out of range easily. Collins tries to land a leg kick but Petz saw it coming and moves away.
Collins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Collins throws a body punch but Petz moves out of range. Petz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Collins misses with a head kick.
Petz checks a low kick from Collins. Petz missing with a left hand there. Collins was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Collins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Collins.
Collins throws a leg kick that misses. A head kick misses from Collins. Petz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Petz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Collins. That one must have hurt. Petz is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Collins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Collins moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Woo Petz has been cut. Collins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Petz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Collins cracks the inside of Petz's front leg. Collins moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Collins throws a head kick that misses. Collins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petz. Nice defenses there by Collins. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy Collins dominated that round. The cut man is working on Woo Petz's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Collins lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Petz throws a body kick that misses. Collins lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Tommy Collins seems to be getting the better of the standup. Collins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Petz's calf. Petz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Collins misses with an attempted mid kick.

Collins throws a leg kick which misses Petz's front leg but catches the back leg as Petz tries to avoid it. Collins throws a nice inside leg kick. Collins has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Collins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Petz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Collins. Collins obviously looking to wear him down.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Petz takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Collins throws a nice inside leg kick. Collins lands a right hook to the body.

Petz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Collins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Collins lands a big right hook! Petz looks hurt but is still standing! Collins lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Petz falls down and Collins dives in with a huge hammer fist! Petz's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Collins runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tommy Collins!
