Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert McKrackin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micheal Moon! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKrackin lands the left hand. McKrackin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moon, pushing him back against the cage. Moon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McKrackin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Moon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McKrackin is in Moon's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. McKrackin stands up from Moon's guard - McKrackin perhaps looking for a knockout. Moon tries to close the distance and clinch but McKrackin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McKrackin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Moon sprawling to the canvas! Moon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McKrackin finish him?!
Moon is rocked! McKrackin plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Moon swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Moon face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
