Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benedict Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isiah Acer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Acer has chosen Mad at Gravity- Burn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acer throws a hook to the side of Cruz's head but Cruz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Acer throws the left hand but Cruz avoids the punch easily.
Cruz throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Isiah Acer has been cut.
Cruz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Cruz pushes Acer up against the cage in a clinch.
Acer misses with a hook to the ribs.
Cruz stops a takedown attempt from Acer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Acer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cruz to the ground. Acer is now in Cruz's guard.
Acer is looking to work some ground and pound but Cruz has wrist control.
