Diamond's entrance music is Youth Gone Wild- Skid Row. A fine choice. Nelson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Trogdor. Johnny Nelson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Diamond counters with a three punch combo that has Nelson backing up. Nelson nods at Diamond to acknowledge the strikes.
Diamond scores with a jab to the head.
Diamond lands with a right hand.
Diamond lands a slapping body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Diamond lands a nice shot to the body.
Johnny Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diamond lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
An inside leg kick lands from Diamond.
Nelson looks gassed!
Diamond lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Diamond.
Nelson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Diamond cracks Nelson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nelson is rocked!
Diamond fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nelson.
Diamond weaves into range and cracks Nelson right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Nelson goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Diamond is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joey Diamond!
