Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitaliy Kleva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Konge!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kleva gets a clinch.
Konge looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kleva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kleva manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kleva wants to stand but Konge is controlling his arm.
Kleva tries to move to mount but Konge blocks the move with his legs.

Kleva wants to control but Konge is keeping him busy.
Konge tries to buck Kleva off but Kleva is having none of it.
Konge wants to control but Kleva postures up.

Kleva is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Konge has escaped the position, nice work there.

Konge is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Konge had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kleva defends it easily.
Kleva might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kleva wanted to stand there but Konge had control of the position.

Konge drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Konge jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Konge drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kleva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kleva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kleva!

Kleva tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Kleva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Konge takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Kleva throws a leg kick that misses.

Konge tries to sprawl but Kleva drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Kleva is keen to just control but Konge is a slippery customer.
Konge is trying to maintain the position but Kleva is very close to passing his half guard.

Kleva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kleva is pressing down on Konge's thigh, looking to free his foot. Konge is holding on for now.

Kleva decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Kleva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Kleva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kleva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kleva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Konge has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kleva has managed to get both his arms back between Konge's legs - danger averted.
