Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Machene Rehel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Bring da pain. Rehel has chosen No more sorrow as his entrance music. Jimmy Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Machene Rehel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Machene Rehel! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rehel shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense. Horrible takedown by Rehel or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad. Rehel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily. Jimmy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Machene Rehel. Rehel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rehel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Horrible takedown by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Rehel which made him look bad. Rehel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Jackson to counter with a crisp jab. Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Machene Rehel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson throws a body kick that misses. Rehel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Rehel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Rehel is rocked! Rehel looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jackson connecting with a few gentle strikes. Rehel is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Jackson trying to hold on to Rehel's head to control him but Rehel postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson tries to get to full guard but Rehel has control of the leg. Jackson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Rehel trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it. The fighters are battling for position here. Jackson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Rehel avoids the head kick by Jackson.
Rehel with a poor takedown and Jackson counters with a two punch combo. Rehel is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rehel throws a right and a left that both miss. Rehel seems to have recovered his senses. Rehel has his takedown stuffed and Jackson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Rehel looks gassed! Jackson missing with a left hand there. Rehel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rehel misses with a few strikes there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rehel counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Rehel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nice strikes from Rehel there. Rehel is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position. Rehel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. Rehel wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rehel gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rehel controls Jackson momentarily but Jackson frees himself. Jackson passes Rehel's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rehel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rehel is not content to let Jackson control the position. Rehel trying to control here.
Rehel makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rehel. Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rehel working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rehel looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Rehel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jackson wants to sweep here but Rehel controlling him for the moment. Rehel wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Jackson wants to stand but Rehel is controlling the position. Rehel looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rehel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rehel showed some decent athleticism there.

Rehel is keen to just control but Jackson is a slippery customer. Jackson regains full guard. Nicely done. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Rehel from controlling successfully. Rehel won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet.

enabling Rehel to counter with a crisp jab. Rehel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jimmy Jackson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Rehel feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Rehel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rehel looking to pass the guard. Rehel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Rehel postures up.
Jackson is controlling Rehel's posture. Rehel drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson wants to control but Rehel is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson scoring with punches from side control. Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Rehel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rehel is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rehel is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. An elbow from Jackson crashes against the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rehel wants to control but Jackson postures up.

Rehel is trying to control Jackson's posture but Jackson avoids it. Jackson throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jackson cracks Rehel with a big right hand but Rehel just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jackson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rehel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard. Machene Rehel has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rehel won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. Jackson is working hard here to advance position. Jackson lands a decent punch to the body there. Jackson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rehel is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action. Rehel regains half guard. Rehel is trying to get back to full guard. Machene Rehel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jackson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Jackson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jackson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
