Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeshita Otsuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fubar Pogue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pogue has chosen Deadmau5 - Ghosts n Stuff as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshita Otsuma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fubar Pogue!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pogue fails in his attempt to clinch.
Otsuma throws a right and a left that Pogue avoids nicely.

Otsuma has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pogue is leaning against Otsuma and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Pogue lands a knee to the body.
Otsuma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Otsuma has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pogue avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pogue changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Otsuma fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Horrible takedown by Otsuma or perhaps it was just good defense by Pogue which made him look bad.

Pogue throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Otsuma was covering up waiting for the punch and Pogue finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Pogue is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Otsuma has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pogue gets to mount! Otsuma was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Otsuma wants to control but Pogue is having none of it.

Otsuma is trying to maintain the position but Pogue is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otsuma misses with an attempted mid kick.
Pogue uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Otsuma.
Pogue closes the distance but Otsuma moves to the side
and Otsuma counters with a stiff right hand.
Pogue fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Otsuma avoids it really well and circles away.
Otsuma throws a looping overhand right but Pogue ducks down to avoid it.

Pogue closes the distance and pushes Otsuma back into the cage.
Pogue lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Pogue is looking for a takedown.
Pogue is working Otsuma over against the cage.

Pogue breaks from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pogue wants to clinch up but Otsuma keeps it at a distance.
Otsuma tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pogue sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Otsuma somewhat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pogue tries to free his leg and advance position but Otsuma is retaining full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Otsuma will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pogue decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Otsuma, up you get!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pogue has picked Otsuma up - he's going for a ride! Pogue dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Oh Otsuma is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fubar Pogue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Pogue has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Otsuma regains guard immediately.

Pogue has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Otsuma is proving hard to escape from.
Otsuma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pogue must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pogue is trying to trip Otsuma. He has hold of a leg but Otsuma is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Pogue persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Fubar Pogue is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Otsuma had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pogue defends it easily.

Pogue decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Otsuma leaves Pogue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Takeshita Otsuma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fubar Pogue.

Fubar Pogue comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pogue has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
