Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willis Smitherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leroy Carter will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Willis Smitherson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leroy Carter! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smitherson tries for a takedown but Carter circles away easily and Carter counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smitherson! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Carter content just to control the position here. Smitherson tries to hold on but Carter postures up. Carter looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Carter controlling the pace for now. Smitherson really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Carter landing strikes from the mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter wants to take his opponent's back but Smitherson doesn't allow it. Carter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Carter connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Carter is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smitherson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smitherson shrugs it off. Carter looking for a guillotine from mount but Smitherson is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Smitherson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Carter controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Carter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Carter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Carter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carter is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Smitherson is in real trouble.
Carter is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Smitherson is trapped and Carter is scoring with shots to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter keeps control of the position easily here as Smitherson tries to buck him off.
Carter throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Smitherson!
Carter lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Carter has managed to slip his arm under Smitherson's chin. This could be all over... yep, Smitherson is tapping out! Submission win for Carter.
