The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Akerman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Akerman.
Power is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Akerman has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Power tries to keep at a distance but Akerman has taken the fight into the clinch.

Akerman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Power is just riding it out for now. Akerman eventually gives up the hold.

and Akerman counters with a left right combination that sends Power crashing to the mat - Akerman wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Power out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
