The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez motions for Worthington to come forward. Melendez throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Melendez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Worthington pinned against the cage. Worthington gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Worthington drops Melendez with a beautiful combination! Melendez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Worthington is looking for the KO!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Worthington steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Melendez is out on his feet! Worthington sets himself and nearly takes Melendez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
