PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gay Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bomb might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's Raining Men. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb ducks under a wild hook from Parker.
Bomb misses the shot to the body.
Parker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Parker wants it to stay on the feet.
Parker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bomb really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bomb shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bomb fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Parker is out of range.
Parker throws a hook but Bomb avoids it easily.

Parker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bomb to score with a decent uppercut.

Bomb shoots in looking for a takedown but Parker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bomb's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bomb will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Parker is looking to stand up but Bomb isn't so interested in that idea.
Parker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gay Bomb.
Parker throws an overhand right that lands on Bomb's shoulder, as Bomb tries to avoid the shot.

Bomb lands a nice hook to Parker's body. Parker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bomb looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parker is fending him off so far but Bomb persists. Nope, Parker circles away and we're back to standing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Parker throws a lazy right hand but Bomb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Parker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bomb moves away.

Bomb shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Parker is trying to defend but Bomb finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bomb connects with a nice short shot to Parker's temple.

Bomb is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Parker still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Parker has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Bomb cracks Parker with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Gay Bomb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bomb darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Gay Bomb seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
