The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Summers slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones is looking to clinch but Summers is avoiding it.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones avoids the head kick by Summers.
Summers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Summers drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Summers creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Summers tries to land a knee to the head but Jones blocks with his arms.

Summers using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Jones has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Jones is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Summers scores with a nice short uppercut.
Jones fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jones takes a knee to the side of the body.

Summers lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Summers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jones backwards.

Summers lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jones.
Summers unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Jones! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Summers is unloading with more strikes now! Jones drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
