Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Odinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Hastings has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Hastings seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hastings doesn't manage to clinch there - Odinson circles away.

Hastings closes the distance and pushes Odinson back into the cage.

Hastings throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Odinson jumps guard and drags Hastings to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hastings slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hastings will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hastings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hastings fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Odinson sprawls well initially but Hastings persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

It looks like Thor Odinson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Odinson has control of Hastings's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hastings regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well Odinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
