Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erek Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horton comes to the cage accompanied by Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Erek Horton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samson David! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from David enables Horton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. David manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. David looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Horton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Horton slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Erek Horton wasn't doing enough on the ground. Horton gets in close and instigates a clinch. Horton lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt David or not. Horton utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Horton lands a body shot. Horton digs a right hand into David's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on David's gas tank. Horton scores with a hook to the body. David looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Horton unloads a knee to the mid-section. David takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Samson David has been cut. Horton lands a left hand.
Horton lands a hook that snaps the head of David backwards. Horton utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A short right hand to the side of the head by Horton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David takes a knee right on the jaw!
Horton lands a damaging elbow. Horton working the clinch nicely. David is working for position but Horton cracks him with a big knee to the head! David crumples up against the cage and Horton lands two more shots before the ref can save David! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee & Punches). Erek Horton! Erek Horton decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
