Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Susanna Saukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikki Ankka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukkonen shoots in but no luck this time.
Saukkonen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Saukkonen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ankka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ankka avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Saukkonen. No joy for Ankka on that attempt.
Ankka misses with a two punch combination.
Good leg kick by Saukkonen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Saukkonen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ankka thows a big elbow that misses.

Ankka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ankka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ankka thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ankka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saukkonen but Saukkonen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Ankka counters with a nice double leg into side control. Saukkonen won't be happy with that.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ankka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Saukkonen dives on top into guard.

Ankka is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Ankka wants to improve his position but instead Saukkonen has moved into half guard.
