Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Eveans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Guvna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eveans's entrance music is One Step Into A World. A fine choice. Nico Guvna struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rashad Eveans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nico Guvna! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eveans throws a nice looking combination but Guvna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Guvna with a lazy takedown attempt and Eveans counters with a head kick. That will keep Guvna thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! A nice combination there by Eveans.
It looks like Nico Guvna has been cut. Eveans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. No joy there for Guvna, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Eveans chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guvna can pounce on him.
Guvna avoids the head kick by Eveans.
Eveans throws a series of punches but Guvna avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Eveans.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guvna shoots and misses and Eveans counters with a left and a right that stings Guvna. Eveans throws a sloppy head kick and Guvna counters with a shoot takedown. Eveans fights it but they end up in guard. Guvna looks gassed! Guvna postures up in Eveans's guard and throws a big left but Eveans blocks it. Guvna loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Guvna prevents Eveans from getting back to his feet. Guvna looking to pass the guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guvna throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eveans is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Eveans avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Eveans wants to stand but Guvna is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Eveans swinging wildly here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guvna pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Eveans back to the cage. Guvna follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Guvna with a poor takedown and Eveans counters with a two punch combo. Rashad Eveans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nico Guvna. Guvna gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Eveans counters with a one-two to the body. Eveans uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Guvna. Guvna doesn't succeed with the takedown and Eveans counters with a left and a right that stings Guvna.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guvna closes the distance looking to clinch and Eveans counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Guvna tries to clinch there but Eveans circles away.
