Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Pierre Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Pierre Saint! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Smith! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pierre Saint will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Pierre Saint swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pierre Saint shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Pierre Saint fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Pierre Saint. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Smith slowing the pace effectively. Pierre Saint fails to pull guard.
Pierre Saint jumps guard but Smith stands there with Pierre Saint around his waist. Pierre Saint gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith throws a head kick but Pierre Saint moves out of range.

Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Pierre Saint circles away.
Pierre Saint is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Marcus Pierre Saint has been cut. Smith keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Smith clinches up against the cage. Pierre Saint pulls guard successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Pierre Saint had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pierre Saint has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pierre Saint escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Smith wants to stand but Pierre Saint is controlling his posture from full guard. Smith is stalling in the full guard. Pierre Saint throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Pierre Saint has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pierre Saint has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith trying to control but Pierre Saint is working from the bottom. Pierre Saint is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well. Smith passes Pierre Saint's left leg - he's now in half guard. Pierre Saint is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily. Pierre Saint is trying to get back to full guard. Pierre Saint looking for submissions off his back. Pierre Saint moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pierre Saint is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well. Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pierre Saint has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Pierre Saint's legs - danger averted. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pierre Saint is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.

Pierre Saint is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pierre Saint is not content to let Smith control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Pierre Saint dominated that round. The cut man is working on Marcus Pierre Saint's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smith tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pierre Saint counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Smith wants to get back to full guard. Smith looks like he's trying to stand up.
Pierre Saint wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pierre Saint blocks the strikes from Smith.

Pierre Saint prevents Smith from improving his position. Smith is looking to control Pierre Saint's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Smith avoid being mounted? Pierre Saint has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pierre Saint fails to advance to Smith's back. Pierre Saint jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Smith manages to avoid the submission attempt. Pierre Saint working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pierre Saint. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith prevents Pierre Saint from moving into mount. Smith tries to bench press Pierre Saint off him but Pierre Saint keeps the position. Marcus Pierre Saint overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pierre Saint advances to mount. Pierre Saint mounts Smith! Really nice guard pass there! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pierre Saint is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smith to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smith shrugs it off. Pierre Saint goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Smith turns into him and now he's in Pierre Saint's guard.
Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pierre Saint isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smith stacks Pierre Saint on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smith!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Pierre Saint is looking for a sweep. Smith in side control, throwing shots but Pierre Saint defends. Pierre Saint gets back to half guard. Pierre Saint looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Pierre Saint is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily. That's four minutes gone in the round. Pierre Saint tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control. Pierre Saint actively working from the bottom here. Smith decides to return to a standing position. Smith fails in his attempt to clinch. Pierre Saint keeps the fight on the outside. Smith lands a big head kick that sends Pierre Saint tumbling to the mat! Smith takes a step backwards and waves Pierre Saint back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pierre Saint is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith clinches up with Pierre Saint and pushes him back against the cage. Oh Pierre Saint is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pierre Saint tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smith smiles and moves away.
Pierre Saint seems to have got his legs back now. Pierre Saint tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but John Smith will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Marcus Pierre Saint's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Smith is looking to clinch but Pierre Saint is avoiding it.
Smith lands with a big left! Pierre Saint is wobbled badly! Smith comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Pierre Saint to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
