Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevenson is fending him off so far but Turk persists. Nope, Stevenson circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevenson shoots in but Turk avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Stevenson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turk's guard.

Turk pushes Stevenson off and gets back to his feet.

Stevenson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turk, pushing him back against the cage.
Turk could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stevenson manages to break the clinch.

Turk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stevenson is looking to improve his position.
Stevenson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk blocks the strikes from Stevenson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Turk tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevenson is retaining full guard.
Stevenson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Turk is controlling him.

Stevenson wants the takedown. Turk is fighting it off but Stevenson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Turk's guard against the cage.

Stevenson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Stevenson wants to take a breather but Turk is having none of it.

Stevenson is working for a submission of some sort.
Turk is looking for a sweep. Stevenson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stevenson thows a huge punch but Turk dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Stevenson counters by moving into the clinch.

Turk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Turk has his foot on Stevenson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stevenson works his way back into a safe position though.

Turk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Stevenson gets a takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stevenson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Turk knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Stevenson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stevenson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Turk has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stevenson is proving hard to escape from.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stevenson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Turk seems to be looking for submissions.
Stevenson keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Stevenson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Turk escapes and throws Stevenson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turk is looking to take a break and control but Stevenson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stevenson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Turk tries to stand and escape but Stevenson is controlling the position.

Turk had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevenson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Turk Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevenson's back instead.
Stevenson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Stevenson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turk's guard.

Turk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stevenson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stevenson has gone for a leg lock! Turk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stevenson's guard.
Stevenson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Stevenson is working an open guard so Turk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Stevenson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turk's waist but Turk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stevenson off to one side.

Turk is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stevenson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Stevenson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stevenson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Turk is refusing to be controlled, as Stevenson sits in half guard.
Stevenson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Turk pushes Stevenson off looking to stand but Stevenson dives back in and keeps control.
Turk manages to get to full guard.
Stevenson passes Turk's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stevenson prevents Turk from standing back up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stevenson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Stevenson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Oh Turk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stevenson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Turk is hurt! He's hurt bad - Stevenson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Turk from any more punishment! Congratulations to Stevenson! Great finish!
