Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adriano Da Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Petrov comes to the ring accompanied by Fantomas - Vendetta. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vladimir Petrov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Adriano Da Costa! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Da Costa.
Da Costa throws a right and a left that both miss. Petrov fails to land the takedown. Da Costa shoots in and bounces Petrov off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Petrov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Da Costa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Petrov looking for a guillotine here but Da Costa defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Da Costa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Da Costa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Costa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Petrov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Da Costa has managed to get both his arms back between Petrov's legs - danger averted. Da Costa is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Da Costa trying to control but Petrov is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Adriano Da Costa. Petrov fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Da Costa is looking to clinch. Da Costa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Da Costa throws a nice inside leg kick. Da Costa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Petrov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Da Costa defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Da Costa clinches up against the ropes. Petrov is trying to drag Da Costa to the mat but Da Costa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adriano Da Costa dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Petrov works his way back into a safe position though. Da Costa is trying to control the position but Petrov postures up. The ref stands the fighters back up. Vladimir Petrov wasn't doing enough on the ground. Da Costa tries to clinch up. Da Costa takes the fight into the clinch. Petrov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Da Costa regains guard immediately.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Vladimir Petrov just wasn't active enough. Da Costa looks to land a combination but Petrov avoids it well. Da Costa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Petrov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Da Costa looking for a sweep. Not yet Da Costa, not yet. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Da Costa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Petrov defends well. Petrov looking to pass the guard. Petrov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Da Costa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Petrov, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Da Costa sitting in guard, not really doing much. This has been an exciting period of action! Petrov is trying to control the position but Da Costa postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Vladimir Petrov will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Da Costa connects with a crisp jab. Petrov shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Costa sprawls well. He's pushed Petrov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Petrov misses with a takedown attempt - Da Costa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Petrov fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Petrov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Da Costa clinches up with Petrov and pushes him back against the ropes. Petrov tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Da Costa is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Petrov is keeping busy. Da Costa is trying to drag Petrov to the mat but Petrov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Petrov turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Da Costa is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Petrov tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Da Costa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Petrov's guard! Nice work there by Da Costa! Petrov keeping moving, preventing Da Costa from controlling successfully. Da Costa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Costa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Petrov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Da Costa sitting in guard here, content to control.
Adriano Da Costa has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Petrov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da Costa pinned against the ropes. Da Costa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Donk. Da Costa catches Petrov right on the button with a cross.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Da Costa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Petrov's guard. Petrov looking for a guillotine here but Da Costa defends easily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Da Costa trying to control the position from guard on top but Petrov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Adriano Da Costa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Da Costa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
