Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Uther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen Downstait's "This Is My Life" as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Uther sprawls well. Uther wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Martin gets slowly back to his feet.
Uther thows a body shot but no joy.
Martin takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Martin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Uther swivels and escapes.

Franz Uther has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Martin.
Uther slaps away a takedown attempt from Martin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Martin slips a straight right by Uther.
Uther stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Martin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Uther after a bit of a struggle.

Martin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Uther gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Martin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Uther pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Uther digs a right hand into Martin's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martin's gas tank.
Uther lands a hook to the side of the head.

Uther lands a nice uppercut.
Martin is rocked!
Uther creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Martin's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Martin drops to his knees and Uther pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Franz Uther!
