Aquino comes to the cage accompanied by Rough And Rugged - Asher D and Daddy Freddy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard staying out of range there.
Jorge Aquino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aquino connects with a nice looking jab.
It looks like Ricardo Lombard has been cut.
Lombard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Aquino will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Aquino throws a lazy right hand but Lombard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aquino swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lombard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lombard there as he acknowledges the shot.
Aquino ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Aquino takes a swing at Lombard's ribcage but misses.
A shot to the liver by Aquino. Beautiful body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aquino lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Aquino connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Aquino misses with a leg kick.
Aquino cracks Lombard with a right hand to the side of the head.

Aquino looks to land a left hand but Lombard moved out of range nicely.
Lombard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Aquino finds it's way round the side to connect with Lombard's head.
Aquino misses with a looping left.
Lombard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Aquino throws out the jab.
Aquino misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lombard.
Aquino looks to score with a jab to the body but Lombard is just out of range.
Lombard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lombard drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That has opened up Ricardo Lombard's cut even more.
Some bone on bone action there as Lombard checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Aquino fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lombard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lombard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lombard is rocked!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lombard.
Lombard is still on wobbly legs! Can Aquino finish him?
Lombard tries a head kick but it misses.
Lombard seems to have recovered his senses.
Donk. Aquino catches Lombard right on the button with a cross.
The cut above Ricardo Lombard's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Aquino feints and then cracks Lombard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lombard down.
An inside leg kick lands from Aquino.
Aquino moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Aquino comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lombard looks gassed!
A jab from Aquino finds it's way through Lombard's defenses.
Aquino is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Aquino connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jorge Aquino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Aquino steps in with a hook that catches Lombard right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Aquino follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lombard looks absolutely devastated.
