Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy Lunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparks has chosen Viva Las Vegas by Dead Kennedys as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Lunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Sparks! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lunn doesn't succeed with the takedown so Sparks counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sparks sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sparks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lunn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sparks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Lunn has his foot on Sparks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sparks works his way back into a safe position though. Lunn looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sparks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lunn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sparks has managed to get both his arms back between Lunn's legs - danger averted. This has been an exciting period of action! Sparks passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sparks is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lunn will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Lunn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sparks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lunn seems a little lost for a moment, as Sparks dominates the positioning. Let's hope that Sparks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Lunn is looking to reverse the position. Sparks slows the pace down. Lunn looking for a sweep but Sparks has passed into full mount! Oh no! Sparks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Sparks might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bobby Sparks has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lunn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sparks shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lunn's guard. Sparks passes into half guard. Sparks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lunn looking for submissions off his back. Sparks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparks controlling from the full mount. Sparks prevents Lunn from getting the reversal. Sparks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sparks with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sparks shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sparks was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lunn is trying desperately to improve position. Sparks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lunn wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Sparks was stalling too much, according to the referee. Lunn fails with the takedown. Sparks lands an overhand right. Sparks clinches with his opponent.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sparks works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparks gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sparks seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lunn regains full guard. Nicely done. Sparks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Sparks was stalling too much, according to the referee. Sparks lands with a hook. Lunn tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sparks's corner calls for a 1-2. Sparks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Sparks bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lunn's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Sparks coming out on top. Lunn looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sparks is fending him off so far but Lunn persists. Nope, Sparks circles away and we're back to standing. Sparks moves into range and clinches up with Lunn. Sparks breaks the clinch.
Lunn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sparks to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lunn wants to sweep but no luck. Sparks tries to free his leg and advance position but Lunn is retaining full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sparks slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sparks controls the position. Lunn tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sparks wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sparks is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sparks has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lunn!

Bobby Sparks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sparks rushes Lunn and presses him up against the cage. Lunn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sparks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sparks lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bobby Sparks wasn't active enough on the ground. Sparks sizes up Lunn with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Sparks is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lunn's half guard. Sparks is taking a breather. Lunn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lunn is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sparks works his way into side control. Sparks moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
