Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zach Didion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaksin Krabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krabi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Twenty four Seven. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zach Didion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thaksin Krabi! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Didion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Krabi quickly recovers to half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Krabi is pressing down on Didion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krabi has control of Didion's left arm, preventing Didion from doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krabi is on top in guard.
Krabi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krabi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Krabi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Didion works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Krabi prevents Didion from getting back to his feet. Krabi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Krabi slips nicely into half guard. Didion is breathing heavily. Krabi not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Krabi moves into full mount! Didion won't be happy about that! Krabi looking to secure an arm triangle but Didion defends it well.

Didion is desperately trying to improve his position but Krabi has a good base and remains in mount. Poor strikes thrown by Krabi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Krabi has control of Didion's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Didion regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krabi has hold of Didion's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Didion manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Krabi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Didion has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Didion! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krabi fails with a takedown attempt. Didion tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Krabi counters with a body kick that stops Didion in his tracks momentarily. Didion wants to clinch and Krabi counters with a series of strikes. Didion will be more careful next time no doubt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Didion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Krabi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Didion is in Krabi's guard. Krabi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Krabi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Didion escapes and throws Krabi's legs to the side, diving into side control! Krabi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Krabi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krabi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Krabi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Didion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Krabi keeping moving, preventing Didion from controlling successfully. Krabi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Didion defends it easily. Didion trying to control but Krabi is working from the bottom. Krabi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Didion is aware though and is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krabi is adopting a defensive guard. Krabi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Didion looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Didion! Krabi sneaks back into half guard. Krabi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Didion pulls his head out easily. Krabi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Didion's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Didion's back! Krabi really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Didion. Didion is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krabi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Didion defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. A lull in the action here.
I really don't envy Didion right now.
Didion is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Krabi gets his way!

Zach Didion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Thaksin Krabi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Krabi biding his time, controlling Didion.
And that's the end of the fight! Thaksin Krabi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Krabi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
