Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Cult of Personality as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takanori Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terry Walker! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker clinches. Walker tightens his grip and picks Son up, before dumping him to the ground. Son manages to land in guard. Son is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Son is working an open guard so Walker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Walker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Walker gets to his feet - back to striking we go! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Walker gets in close and instigates a clinch. Walker gets a trip takedown into half guard. Walker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Son defending well though. Walker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Son keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Son is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard. Walker wants to pass to mount but Son is defending the position. Son wants to control but Walker is keeping busy and won't allow it. Walker moves nicely into side control. Walker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Son is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Walker working away. Son tries to bench press Walker off him but Walker keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Son is trying to work for a sweep but Walker has mounted him! Son keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Walker trying to control but Son is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Walker. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker landing strikes from the mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Son is squirming around, avoiding Walker's attempts to control the action. Walker lands a heavy elbow. Walker avoids the attempt from Son to control. Walker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Walker is working for a guillotine from mount but Son frees his head quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker prevents Son from getting the reversal. Walker is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Walker extends the arm and Son is forced to tap!
