Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Far (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Born (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Far's entrance music is Slayed. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Far! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Born! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Born. Those never looked like landing. Far throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Born. Far tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Born decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Far's guard. Born trying to control the position from guard on top but Far is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Born might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Far kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Born content to stall in guard here. Born wants to control from the top but Far keeps moving. Far knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Born on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kevin Born was stalling too much, according to the referee. Born looks for a takedown but Far sprawls well. Some wild striking there from Far.
Born showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Far.
The fight stays on the outside here - Far looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Born gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Far cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Born forces Far back against the cage and clinches. Born takes a shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Far. A short body shot lands from Far as the two fighters clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Far takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Born wants to stall.
Born is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Far pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jason Far has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Born. Far is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Born is defending well for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Far obliges. Born looks gassed! Far lands a good knee to the midsection. Born won't want to take too many of those. Born drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Far gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Kevin Born has been cut. Far lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A left hand lands to the body for Far.
Born looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A shot in the inside from Far. Far lands a nice shot to the body. Far using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Born has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Far lands a nice shot to the body. Far gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A nice left hand lands by Far.

Born is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Far. Born is still on wobbly legs! Can Far finish him?
That has opened up Kevin Born's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Far lands a knee to the body.
Far is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Far lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Far scores with a hook to the body. Far unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Born! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Far is unloading with more strikes now! Born drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Far! An out of breath Jason Far thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
