Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopo has chosen Bodies as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Chad Hart! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Hessu Hopo! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Hopo. Hopo scores with a punch to the head. Hopo misses with a low kick.
Hart misses with a hook. Hopo ducked under it nicely. Hopo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good shot there by Hart. Hart misses with an uppercut. A momentary lapse in concentration from Hopo enables Hart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hopo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hart is looking to work some ground and pound but Hopo has wrist control. Hart looking to pass the guard. Hopo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hart pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hopo is keeping the position for now. Hopo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hopo works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hopo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hart gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hopo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hart slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hart pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hopo is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopo is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hart has his hands clasped together but Hopo extends an breaks Hart's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hopo.

Our winner, Hessu Hopo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
