Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Romario Junior!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with the takedown.

Junior gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
King throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Junior blocks it with crossed arms.
King letting Junior take a breather here.
King pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
King creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Junior's defenses.

Junior drags the fight down to the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Junior seems keen to control King's posture.

Junior is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Junior is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Junior keeping full guard, as King tries to pass.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Junior can do anything to dispel that myth.
Junior throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Junior escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King postures up.
Junior pulls King in close to prevent any damage.
King trying to control the position from guard on top but Junior is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Junior is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Romario Junior has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
King tries to clinch but Junior moves out of range.
King walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Junior checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Junior takes a swing at King's ribcage but misses.
Junior tries for a takedown but King sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Junior moves into range and clinches up with King.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, King just misses with a elbow thrown towards Junior's brow.
Junior displaying some good clinch control by pressing King up against the cage.
King misses with an elbow strike.
Junior tries to pull guard but King holds him up against the cage and eventually Junior drops back down to his feet.
Junior looks gassed!
King is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, King just misses with a elbow thrown towards Junior's brow.
Junior goes for a takedown attempt but King pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kevin King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romario Junior.

King instigates a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Junior avoids the elbow strike from King, against the cage.
Junior is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. King is defending well for now.
King throws an elbow but it misses.
King avoiding damage.
Junior wants to break the clinch but can't.

Junior manages to pull guard.
King tries to free his leg and advance position but Junior is retaining full guard.
King passes into half guard.
King passes to full mount!
King punishing his opponent with strikes.
Junior really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
King trying to control but Junior is having none of it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Junior is in a horrible position here. King smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
King landing strikes, looking to finish!

King looking to isolate an arm here. Junior doesn't see it coming and as King extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by King!
