Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Krauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Mannetosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stanislav Krauss! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manny Mannetosen! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mannetosen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Krauss misses with a wild body shot. Mannetosen avoids a kick to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Krauss checks a leg kick. Mannetosen scores a takedown into full mount! Krauss is looking to get to half guard. Krauss regains half guard. Mannetosen throws a strike but Krauss avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Krauss is looking to sweep but instead, Mannetosen has passed into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krauss avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mannetosen. Mannetosen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Krauss defending well though. The fighters are battling for position here. Krauss manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mannetosen works a leg free and moves into half guard. Krauss is trying to control but can't.
Mannetosen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mannetosen connects with a nice short shot to Krauss's temple. Krauss is looking for a sweep. Mannetosen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mannetosen prevents Krauss from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Mannetosen there. Mannetosen is looking for a kimura but Krauss is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mannetosen to get the leverage. Krauss tries to kick Mannetosen off but Mannetosen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mannetosen is controlling the pace.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krauss is not content to let Mannetosen control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mannetosen lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mannetosen wants to free his trapped foot but Krauss is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mannetosen scoring with strikes to the body and head. Krauss tries to kick Mannetosen off in order to stand up. Mannetosen Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Mannetosen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Krauss takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Mannetosen working the head and body with strikes. Mannetosen landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mannetosen landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Krauss is looking to reverse the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mannetosen lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Krauss down.
Krauss takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Mannetosen taking a breather here. Mannetosen working the ground and pound from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krauss tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mannetosen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Mannetosen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A swing and a miss from Mannetosen. Krauss swings away with a body shot that misses
and Mannetosen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Mannetosen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Krauss is out of range and Mannetosen settles back down. Krauss throws a half hearted mid kick. A nice leg kick lands there from Mannetosen. Mannetosen throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Krauss throws a sloppy head kick and Mannetosen counters with a nice body shot. Mannetosen misses with a wild body shot. Stanislav Krauss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Krauss avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mannetosen rushes Krauss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mannetosen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mannetosen slowing the pace effectively. Mannetosen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Krauss trying to keep a closed guard but Mannetosen is proving a slippery customer.
Krauss throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mannetosen escapes and throws Krauss's legs to the side, diving into side control! Manny Mannetosen has got the better of the ground game so far. Krauss is looking to regain half guard here but Mannetosen keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krauss is letting Mannetosen control him for a moment. Mannetosen grinds an elbow into Krauss's temple. Mannetosen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Check out the look on Mannetosen's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

The referee will try and keep them active though. Mannetosen working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Mannetosen swings around for an armbar but Krauss sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mannetosen's guard. Mannetosen pulls Krauss in to control the position. Manny Mannetosen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mannetosen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Krauss checks a leg kick. Krauss takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mannetosen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mannetosen - that will leave a mark!
Mannetosen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Krauss lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Krauss throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Krauss moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Krauss takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mannetosen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Krauss napping and manages to drive through into side control! Krauss is being controlled here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mannetosen trying to control the position but Krauss is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krauss tries to get back to half guard but can't. Krauss trying to remain calm as Mannetosen controls from the top position. Mannetosen working the head and body with strikes. Krauss is looking for a sweep. Mannetosen wants to take a breather but Krauss manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Mannetosen. Krauss escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mannetosen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mannetosen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krauss swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mannetosen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mannetosen won't allow Krauss to get back to his feet. Mannetosen scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mannetosen distracts Krauss with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mannetosen trying to control the position from guard on top but Krauss is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Krauss keeping full guard, as Mannetosen tries to pass. Krauss wants to get back to his feet but Mannetosen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Krauss has an active guard here but Mannetosen has managed to pass into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mannetosen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Krauss on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Mannetosen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mannetosen is taking a breather. Krauss says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Krauss looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manny Mannetosen really dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mannetosen clinches up with Krauss and pushes him back against the cage. Mannetosen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Krauss is defending well for now. Mannetosen effectively controlling the action here. Mannetosen is pressed up against the cage. Krauss has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mannetosen down to the mat. Mannetosen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mannetosen moves out of range as Krauss throws a body kick.
Mannetosen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mannetosen lands a front kick. Mannetosen moves out of range of the body kick from Krauss.
That kick from Mannetosen tenderised Krauss's leg. Krauss is trying to keep his angry face on. Krauss lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Mannetosen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Krauss's calf. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Mannetosen thumps Krauss with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Krauss, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mannetosen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Krauss fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mannetosen manages to avoid it. Krauss takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mannetosen tries to work over Krauss's front leg with a kick but Krauss checks it. Mannetosen clinches up with Krauss and pushes him back against the cage. Mannetosen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Krauss is trying to keep an underhook but Mannetosen manages to get the takedown into half guard. Mannetosen trying to control the pace. Mannetosen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mannetosen moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mannetosen working away. Mannetosen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Krauss is trying to escape and Mannetosen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Krauss is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mannetosen! Very nice indeed!
