Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Egor Ruslanov!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruslanov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ruslanov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Williams reaches up to try and control the position but Ruslanov seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Williams rolls and tries to escape and now Ruslanov has his back!
Even with his hooks in, Ruslanov manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Williams tries to break free.
Williams turns into Ruslanov and is now in his guard.

Ruslanov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Williams drops back looking for a leg! Ruslanov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ruslanov manages to kick Williams off! Williams jumps back into Ruslanov's guard.

Ruslanov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ruslanov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ruslanov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Ruslanov's head back.

Williams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruslanov on the ground.
Williams has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ruslanov is working away from the top position though.

Williams throws a nice looking combination but Ruslanov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ruslanov has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
