The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medina tries to clinch up but Cunnings circles away and keeps his distance.
Medina has closed the distance and engaged Cunnings in a clinch.
Medina has Cunnings pressed against the cage.
Medina tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Cunnings avoiding damage as Medina throws knees to the body.
Medina fails to pull guard.
Cunnings pulls guard successfully.
Medina controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Medina wants to control from the top but Cunnings keeps moving.
Cunnings throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Medina engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Medina decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Medina is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Medina tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cunnings counters with a big head kick but Medina shrugs it off.
Cunnings throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cunnings goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Medina throws a nice looking combination but Cunnings bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Medina wants to clinch but Cunnings slips to the side
and Cunnings counters with a head kick. That will keep Medina thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Cunnings is looking to land body kicks.
Medina goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Medina takes the fight into the clinch.

Cunnings turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Medina tries to improve position but can't.
Cunnings has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Medina is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cunnings yanks on the arm and Medina is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cunnings.
