Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fast Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch's entrance music is Prodigy - Hot Ride . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fast Punch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Lee! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Lee. Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lee manages to break the clinch.
Lee looks to land a right hand but Punch moved out of range. Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick misses from Lee. Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Lee wants to finish this one by submission but Punch is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lee. Lee controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lee misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punch working to try and regain half guard.
Punch wants to hold on but Lee pushes him away. Lee lands a nice shot to the head. Punch working to try and regain half guard.
Lee wants to control the action but instead Punch gets a body lock and reverses into Lee's guard! Nice work! Lee has his hands on Punch's head, controlling the position. Punch trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee controls Punch momentarily but Punch frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee pulls Punch in close to prevent any damage. Punch tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lee cracks Punch with a right hand to the side of the head. Punch shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lee rushes Punch and presses him up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee pushes Punch back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Punch can't break the clinch.
Punch has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lee is trying to keep an underhook but Punch manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punch is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Lee trying to control from the bottom.
Punch controlling the action here. Lee is refusing to be controlled, as Punch sits in half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Fast Punch. Punch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Punch connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Punch avoids the head kick by Lee.
Punch loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Punch misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut. Lee scores with a sloppy right hand. Punch should have avoided that one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
A jab lands there for Lee. Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Punch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Punch has escaped and now he's on top! Lee is trying to control the position but Punch postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Punch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lee has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Punch has managed to get both his arms back between Lee's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Lee dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Lee misses with a straight left. Lee misses with a wild combination.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Eric Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lee looks to land a combination but Punch avoids it well. Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lee tries a low kick but Punch avoids it. Lee throws the left hand but Punch avoids the punch easily. Some wild striking there from Lee.
Lee throws a series of punches but Punch avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Punch throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot. Eric Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee thows a left - swing and a miss! Jab from Punch. Lee throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lee scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Lee has his takedown stuffed and Punch counters with a straight right hand. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Punch swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Punch tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lee jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Lee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. This has been an exciting period of action! Punch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Punch lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Lee with a jab. Lee digs a good body shot into Punch's ribs. Lee lands with a nice combination. Punch backs away looking to recover. Punch falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lee counters by moving into the clinch. Punch doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Punch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Punch avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lee cracks Punch with an open hand slap. Lee lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Punch tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily and Lee counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Punch is rocked! Punch takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lee works Punch's body with a nice hook. Punch throws a jab when Lee was well out of range. Lee throws a lazy right hand but Punch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Punch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Punch lands in his opponent's guard. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Punch trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee keeping full guard, as Punch tries to pass. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Punch engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eric Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Lee counters with a straight right hand. Punch throws a shot from downtown. Lee moves away and avoids it. Punch jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance. Lee is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Punch gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Punch trying to control the pace. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Punch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee looking for submissions off his back. Lee tries to get to full guard but Punch has control of the leg. Eric Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Punch content to control rather than advance. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fast Punch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Punch is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Punch is staying active. Punch takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Fast Punch wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Punch missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lee lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Punch lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Punch which made him look bad. Lee misses with a body shot.

Lee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Punch is able to avoid easily. Punch misses with a straight right. Lee throws a body punch but Punch moves out of range. Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fast Punch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Punch ducks under a wild hook from Lee. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Punch circles away quickly and effectively.
And that's the end of the fight! Fast Punch showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
