The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Barry throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pudzianowski avoids the head kick by Van Barry.
Van Barry wants to clinch.
Van Barry throws a lazy head kick
and Pudzianowski counters with a single leg into guard. Van Barry didn't expect that.
Van Barry is looking for a triangle here but Pudzianowski uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Van Barry is looking for a sweep.
Pudzianowski decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Van Barry scores with a head kick. Pudzianowski tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Van Barry goes for an armbar but Pudzianowski turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pudzianowski.

Van Barry thuds his shin into the meat of Pudzianowski's side.
