Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fairley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer's entrance music is Amon Amarth - The Pursuit of Vikings. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thor Hammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Fairley! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hammer clinches with his opponent.
Fairley blocks a body shot from Hammer. Hammer throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Fairleys head. Fairley breaks the clinch.
Hammer gets caught napping as Fairley dives in and scores a takedown. Hammer manages to retain guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Hammer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fairley pushes down on Hammer's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hammer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fairley on the ground. Fairley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hammer keeps working. Fairley throwing shots but Hammer is blocking nicely. Fairley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fairley is looking for a kimura here.
Fairley trying to control the action but Hammer is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fairley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hammer's head. Hammer wants to get back to his feet. Fairley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well. Hammer misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Fairley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hammer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Fairley thows a huge punch but Hammer dodges it nicely.
Fairley is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Hammer is trying to get back to full guard. Fairley is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fairley controlling the pace. Hammer looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hammer tries to get to full guard but Fairley has control of the leg. Fairley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hammer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fairley passes to side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fairley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hammer keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fairley landing a few strikes. Fairley tries to score with some ground and pound. Hammer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fairley looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fairley prevents Hammer from escaping the position. Hammer is trying to escape the position but Fairley is controlling the position. Hammer gets back to half guard. Fairley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fairley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hammer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fairley. Fairley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hammer defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fairley is trying to work for a kimura but Hammer is defending well.
Ground and pound from Fairley. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hammer tries to kick Fairley off but Fairley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Fairley looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fairley is keen to just control but Hammer is a slippery customer. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hammer trying to control from the bottom.
Hammer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fairley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Fairley dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hammer moves out of range of the strikes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fairley is defended easily by Hammer. Fairley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Fairley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hammer sees it coming and defends easily. Fairley uses his free foot to push down on Hammer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Hammer. Fairley punching from mount but Hammer doing a good job of avoiding damage. Fairley thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Hammer wants to control but Fairley is having none of it. Hammer's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fairley with a couple of short strikes. Hammer tries to improve his position but instead Fairley has taken his back! Fairley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hammer is really stuck here.
Hammer trying to control the action but Fairley just sinks the hooks in. Fairley lands shots from the back. Fairley is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Hammer has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Fairley has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Hammer taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Fairley doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nick Fairley!
