Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rylan Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Five Sixteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rylan Hunter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rylan Hunter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Five Sixteen! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Five Sixteen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hunter somewhat. Five Sixteen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hunter. Five Sixteen throws a nice looking combination but Hunter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hunter wants to clinch up but Five Sixteen keeps it at a distance. Hunter gets caught flat footed, as Five Sixteen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Five Sixteen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Five Sixteen trying to control but Hunter is working from the bottom. Five Sixteen postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Matthew Five Sixteen was stalling too much, according to the referee. Hunter lands with a shot to the body. Five Sixteen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunter but Hunter pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hunter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Five Sixteen's half guard. Five Sixteen manages to get to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Five Sixteen holds on and takes a little breather. Hunter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hunter stopping the sweep attempt from Five Sixteen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter has gone for a leg lock! Five Sixteen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hunter's guard. Hunter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunter tries to get out of the position. Five Sixteen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunter is keeping the position for now. Five Sixteen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hunter's head. Five Sixteen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is looking to stand up but Five Sixteen isn't so interested in that idea. Five Sixteen wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Matthew Five Sixteen. Hunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Five Sixteen is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Five Sixteen wants to hold on but Hunter pushes him away. Hunter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Five Sixteen is trying desperately to improve position. Five Sixteen tries to hold on but Hunter pushes him away. Hunter swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Five Sixteen is now in Hunter's guard. A big mistake from Hunter there, giving up the dominant position! Five Sixteen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hunter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Five Sixteen trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hunter is working an open guard so Five Sixteen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Five Sixteen dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hunter looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Matthew Five Sixteen has got the better of the ground game so far. Hunter trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Five Sixteen manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Five Sixteen advances to half guard. Hunter is trying to get back to full guard. Five Sixteen wants to work for an arm triangle but Hunter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hunter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Five Sixteen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter is trying to get back to full guard. Hunter looking for submissions off his back. Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Five Sixteen on the ground. Five Sixteen passes the guard and advances to mount! Five Sixteen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Five Sixteen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hunter is surviving well by controlling Five Sixteen's body position as best he can. Five Sixteen has control of Hunter's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hunter regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hunter is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Five Sixteen looking to control and managing it successfully. Five Sixteen with the ground and pound from mount.
It looks like Rylan Hunter has been cut. Five Sixteen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Five Sixteen tries to control but Hunter wriggling away. Five Sixteen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hunter?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter tries to hold on but Five Sixteen postures up. Five Sixteen working for a submission but Hunter is keeping him at bay. This has been an exciting period of action! Five Sixteen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Hunter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Five Sixteen controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Five Sixteen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rylan Hunter's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Five Sixteen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hunter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Five Sixteen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck for Hunter with that takedown attempt. Hunter shoots in for a takedown but Five Sixteen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hunter swinging wildly here.
Hunter shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rylan Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Five Sixteen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hunter avoids it really well and circles away. Five Sixteen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Five Sixteen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side. Hunter closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Five Sixteen's guard. Five Sixteen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Five Sixteen has his feet on Hunter's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Five Sixteen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rylan Hunter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunter looking to control but Five Sixteen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Five Sixteen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Five Sixteen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Five Sixteen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Five Sixteen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hunter is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Five Sixteen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Five Sixteen pushes a forearm under Hunter's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hunter is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Matthew Five Sixteen! Matthew Five Sixteen retains his heavyweight title! An intense looking Matthew Five Sixteen took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Thank you Jesus.'.
