The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valquez closes the distance but Kirijenko moves to the side
and Kirijenko counters with a right hand to the body.
Valquez tries to clinch up but Kirijenko circles away and keeps his distance.
Valquez tries to close the distance and clinch but Kirijenko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Valquez keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
