The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Nice cross by Hrolf .

It looks like Simon Bruce has been cut.
Bruce shoots in but Hrolf avoids the takedown attempt easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hrolf loads up on a big right hand but Bruce slips the punch.

Horrible takedown by Hrolf or perhaps it was just good defense by Bruce which made him look bad.
Hrolf lands a nice hook to Bruce's body. Bruce takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Hrolf uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bruce.

Bruce shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hrolf manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hrolf controls Bruce momentarily but Bruce frees himself.
Bruce postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hrolf parries the strikes from Bruce easily there. Bruce is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hrolf to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bruce lands a nice forearm strike.
Hrolf is still in real trouble! Can Bruce finish him?
Bruce cracks Hrolf with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Bruce immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hrolf is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Bruce!
