Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dong Dantes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dong Dantes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sven Knight! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Knight lands in his opponent's guard. Knight is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Knight postures up.
Knight is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Dantes trying to keep a closed guard but Knight is proving a slippery customer.
Knight looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dong Dantes just wasn't active enough. Dantes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knight stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Dantes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dantes. Dong Dantes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dantes cracks Knight with a right hand to the side of the head. Knight looks to land a left hand but Dantes moved out of range nicely. Dantes throws a body punch but Knight moves out of range. Dantes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Knight. Dantes lands a slapping body shot.
Knight walks into a straight right hand from Dantes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good shot there by Dantes. Dantes swings for the body but Knight moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knight throws a series of punches but Dantes avoids them all with ease. Dantes cracks Knight with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dantes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Knight doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dantes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Dantes lands a really nice looking cross but Knight seems unphased.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Knight is defended easily by Dantes. Knight takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knight dodges the punch combination from Dantes.
Dantes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knight looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Knight throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dantes is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Knight throws a predictable looking body shot
and Dantes counters with a nice body shot. Knight takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Knight on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Dantes connects with a body shot. Dantes throws a right and a left that Knight avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big left from Knight misses. Dantes jabs Knight right on the nose. Knight blinks but takes it well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dantes lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Knight misses with a right hand and Dantes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Knight looks to land a right hand but Dantes moved out of range. Knight has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Dantes lands a nice hook to Knight's body. Knight takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A combination from Knight does no damage. Dantes looks to score with a jab to the body but Knight is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dong Dantes dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dantes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Knight momentarily.

Knight throws a jab when Dantes was well out of range. Knight takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dantes slips a jab from Knight. Knight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Knight keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dantes. Knight misses with a hook. Knight throws out a loose jab but Dantes uses good head movement to avoid it. Dantes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight dives in and grabs Dantes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dantes pushes down on Knight's head and hops out. Dantes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Dantes misses with a straight left. The fighters circle momentarily. Dantes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Knight throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dantes tries to sprawl but Knight drives through with a takedown into half guard. Dantes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Knight sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dantes defending well though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dantes is trying to get back to full guard. Knight is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Dantes is trying to control but Knight manages to pass to mount!
Dantes wants to hold on but Knight pushes him away. Knight with a couple of short strikes. Knight looking to finish Dantes with some ground and pound. This is bad for Dantes! Knight controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dantes tries to hold on but Knight pushes him away. Dantes is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Knight lands with some strikes. Knight unloading with bombs! Knight lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knight prevents Dantes from getting the reversal. Knight controlling from the full mount. Knight lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knight lands a nice shot to the head. Knight controlling from the full mount. Knight with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dantes keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Sven Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Dantes counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dantes scores with a hook. A left lands for Dantes. Knight misses with a few strikes there.
Dantes lands a really nice looking cross but Knight seems unphased.
A looping hook to the body misses from Knight. Dantes does a little dance to reset his feet. Knight shoots in looking for a takedown but Dantes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knight's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dantes lands with a straight right. Knight didn't see that one coming. This has been an exciting period of action! Knight doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Knight has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Dantes connects with a jab. Dantes lands a jab to Knight's midsection. Dong Dantes is winning the standup battle so far. Dantes scores with a nice head shot. Dantes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knight was well out of range. Poor timing from Dantes. Knight waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dantes. Knight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dantes showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knight.
Knight needs to keep his hands up - Dantes had a free shot at his head there. Dantes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knight's head. Dantes shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Knight eats them both and turns towards Dantes to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dantes looks to land a combination. Knight sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A looping hook to the body misses from Knight. Dantes does a little dance to reset his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dantes thows a body shot but no joy. Dantes scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Knight doesn't seem bothered though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dantes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Knight.
Dantes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Knight's head. Dantes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Knight can do to turn this around? Knight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dantes defending well as Knight loads up on a big left hand. Knight swings and misses with a shot to the body and Dantes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Knight throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dantes counters with a left to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Knight's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dantes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Knight scrambles back to his feet. Knight misses with a double jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Dong Dantes showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dantes has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
