The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arona displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tirados.
Tirados decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Arona seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tirados does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Arona has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Arona loads up on a big left hand. Tirados felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Arona looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Tirados can't hide his disappointment, as Arona celebrates the victory.
