Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teddy Roosevelt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mariusz Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt swinging wildly here.

Roosevelt's corner calls for a 1-2. Roosevelt obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Roosevelt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zakrzewski.
Zakrzewski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Zakrzewski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Roosevelt, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zakrzewski works to advance to full mount. Roosevelt defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Zakrzewski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A close second round but Mariusz Zakrzewski will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Zakrzewski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Zakrzewski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Roosevelt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zakrzewski on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee warns Roosevelt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zakrzewski cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Zakrzewski is landing with some decent strikes but Roosevelt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Zakrzewski is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Zakrzewski extends the arm and Roosevelt is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mariusz Zakrzewski!
As Mariusz Zakrzewski got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I WANT MY BELT BACK!!!'.
