Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick van Greeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Greeven is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tom Waits - Telephone call from Istanbul. Dick van Greeven will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick van Greeven!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki fails with a takedown attempt.
Aoki tries to sprawl but van Greeven drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
van Greeven tries to pass to full mount but Aoki defends it.
Aoki is trying to defend against the ground and pound but van Greeven scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. van Greeven connects with a nice short shot to Aoki's temple.
van Greeven has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Aoki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. van Greeven is working away from the top position though.
Aoki is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute van Greeven jumps into side control!

van Greeven works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
van Greeven connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Aoki some visible discomfort.
van Greeven moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

van Greeven slips a nice elbow through Aoki's hands, connecting with Aoki's forehead.

van Greeven passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Aoki!

van Greeven postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Aoki badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of van Greeven around the waist but van Greeven pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! van Greeven is the winner by TKO! van Greeven jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick van Greeven!
A relieved looking Dick van Greeven thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
