Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sync Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Hawryluk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sync Fowler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Hawryluk! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawryluk throws a series of punches but Fowler avoids them all with ease. Hawryluk shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fowler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fowler is trying to work for a kimura but Hawryluk is defending well.
Fowler is looking for a kimura but Hawryluk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fowler to get the leverage. Fowler is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hawryluk has managed to free his arm - good work. Hawryluk is controlling Fowler's position as best he can from this difficult position. Fowler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hawryluk wants to improve his position but Fowler is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fowler is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hawryluk sees it coming and defends easily. Fowler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fowler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawryluk tries to get to full guard but Fowler has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hawryluk trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Fowler manages to pass to mount!
Fowler with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawryluk sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Fowler is looking for a kimura but Hawryluk is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fowler to get the leverage. Hawryluk looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hawryluk is trying to maintain the position but Fowler is very close to passing his half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hawryluk can do anything to dispel that myth. Hawryluk looks gassed! Fowler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Sync Fowler dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hawryluk closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fowler quickly recovers to half guard. Hawryluk seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hawryluk should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fowler is not content to let Hawryluk control the position. Fowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Fowler pushes Hawryluk off and gets back to his feet. Hawryluk misses with a body shot.
Hawryluk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fowler. Matt Hawryluk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawryluk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fowler but Fowler pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hawryluk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fowler tries to avoid it but Hawryluk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fowler to the ground. Fowler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hawryluk shoots in but Fowler avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sync Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Hawryluk. Hawryluk is breathing heavily. Fowler fails with the takedown. Hawryluk shoots in looking for a takedown but Fowler manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hawryluk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hawryluk fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fowler closes the distance and clinches up with Hawryluk, looking for a takedown. Fowler pushes Hawryluk against the cage but Hawryluk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawryluk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fowler. Hawryluk throws a right and a left that Fowler avoids nicely. Fowler shoots for a takedown but Hawryluk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fowler fails with the takedown. Fowler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hawryluk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fowler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawryluk sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Hawryluk. Hawryluk wants to clinch. Fowler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fowler lands in his opponent's guard. Fowler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fowler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hawryluk is keeping the position for now. Sync Fowler overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fowler drops back looking for a leg! Hawryluk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawryluk manages to kick Fowler off! Fowler jumps back into Hawryluk's guard. Hawryluk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fowler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fowler drops back looking for a leg! Hawryluk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawryluk manages to kick Fowler off! Fowler jumps back into Hawryluk's guard. Fowler is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Fowler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fowler drops back looking for a leg! Hawryluk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawryluk manages to kick Fowler off! Fowler jumps back into Hawryluk's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sync Fowler will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Fowler looks for a takedown but Hawryluk sprawls well. Hawryluk decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hawryluk wants to stand up but Fowler has a hold of him and won't allow it. Hawryluk wants to stand up but Fowler manages to regain full guard. Hawryluk prevents Fowler from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fowler pushes Hawryluk off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Fowler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hawryluk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fowler fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sync Fowler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fowler shoots in for a takedown but Hawryluk shows good takedown defense. Sync Fowler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawryluk closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fowler did well to prevent Hawryluk getting side control. Hawryluk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fowler regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hawryluk. Hawryluk looking to sit in guard and control but Fowler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Fowler drops back looking for a leg! Hawryluk is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hawryluk manages to kick Fowler off! Fowler jumps back into Hawryluk's guard. Fowler drops back looking for a leg! Hawryluk is in trouble here! Fowler wants to pass the guard but Hawryluk is keeping the position. Fowler drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fowler jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fowler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hawryluk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hawryluk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hawryluk!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fowler tries to escape but Hawryluk is in control. Hawryluk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fowler keeps working. Hawryluk wants to take a breather but Fowler manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hawryluk. Hawryluk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hawryluk tries to free his leg and advance position but Fowler is retaining full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Matt Hawryluk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fowler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
