Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Billy D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Inas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, AC/DC - TNT. Inas has chosen Rage Against The Machine: Killing In The Name as his entrance music. Inas has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Billy D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Inas!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

D scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and D cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

D throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
D digs a good hook to Inas's body.
D tries to clinch but Inas moves out of range.
D throws a looping overhand right but Inas ducks down to avoid it.
Inas throws a series of punches but D moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

D throws a right and a left that Inas avoids nicely.

and Inas counters with a left to the body.
Inas misses with a looping right.
D scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
D looks to land a combination but Inas avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - D looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
D uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Inas.

A left lands for D.
Inas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Inas throws the left hand but D avoids the punch easily.

D moves into the clinch.
Inas tries to throw a body punch but D avoids it by throwing Inas back against the cage.
D scores with a shoulder strike.
Inas misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Inas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Inas wants to break the clinch but can't.

D is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Inas gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
D misses with the head strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Inas obliges.
D works on Inas's body with a couple of short punches.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

D wants the takedown. Inas is fighting it off but D persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Inas's guard against the cage.

D in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

D pushes down on Inas's leg and manages to get into half guard.
D is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
D takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. D lands a nice short elbow.
D content to control rather than advance.
D thows a huge punch but Inas dodges it nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

D looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Inas covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
