Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Val Engine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raden Intan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raden Intan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Val Engine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raden Intan! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Intan throws a body punch but Engine moves out of range. Intan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Intan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Intan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Engine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A solid leg kick lands there for Intan.
Intan tries to clinch but Engine is having none of it. Engine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Intan closes the distance looking to clinch and Engine counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Intan's guard now. Engine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Engine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Engine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Engine drops back for a leg! The fighters roll with the hold and Intan manages to kick Engine off! Engine jumps back into Intan's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Engine is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Engine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Engine won't allow Intan to get back to his feet. Engine forces his way into half guard. Engine is looking for a kimura but Intan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Engine to get the leverage. Engine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Engine has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Engine has isolated one of Intan's arms. Intan looking to fight him off but Engine twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Val Engine! As Val Engine got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Thank you SPFT for giving me awesome fights!'.
