And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Henry Nikman!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikman tries a head kick but it misses.
Bunch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nikman.
Bunch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bunch scores with a jab.
Bunch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nikman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nikman with a poor takedown
and Bunch counters with a one-two to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nikman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Nikman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bunch up against the cage.
Nikman jumps guard but Bunch stands there with Nikman around his waist. Nikman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nikman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nikman has his foot on Bunch's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bunch works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bunch pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Nikman back to the cage. Bunch follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Bunch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Nikman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Nikman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bunch walks away with a smile on his face. Nikman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bunch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bunch wants it to stay on the feet.
Aaron Bunch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Nikman.

Bunch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nikman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nikman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bunch sees it coming and defends easily.
Nikman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bunch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

No joy there for Bunch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nikman drives through and clinches with Bunch against the cage.

Nikman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bunch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nikman has a takedown stuffed.

Bunch misses with a two punch combination.
Bunch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nikman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Nikman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bunch prevents Nikman from improving position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nikman decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Bunch throws a series of strikes that have Nikman backpedaling.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Henry Nikman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Nikman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bunch tries to avoid it but Nikman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bunch to the ground. Bunch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bunch lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bunch.

I would just about give that final round to Henry Nikman.
