Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlunt comes to the cage accompanied by Westside Connection - Bow Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlunt checks a low kick from Stone.

Stone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stone lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
DeBlunt is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
DeBlunt looking to control but Stone passes into half guard.
DeBlunt wants to control but Stone is keeping busy and won't allow it.
DeBlunt tries to kick Stone off but Stone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stone throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

DeBlunt has one foot on Stone's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
DeBlunt avoids the head kick by Stone.

DeBlunt throws the left hand but Stone avoids the punch easily.
A solid body kick from Stone.
DeBlunt blocks a head kick by Stone.
Stone is looking to land body kicks.

DeBlunt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stone.
Stone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by DeBlunt.
Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stone, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
DeBlunt works Stone's body with a nice hook.
Stone scores with a shot to the body.
Stone shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stone does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Stone.
Stone connects with a high kick.


It looks like Phil DeBlunt has been cut.
DeBlunt avoids a kick to the body.

DeBlunt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
DeBlunt goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Stone fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stone lands with a kick to the ribs.
DeBlunt is breathing heavily.
Stone moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
DeBlunt throws a hook to the side of Stone's head but Stone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Stone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on DeBlunt. That did some damage!
DeBlunt takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Stone throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Good leg kick by Stone there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stone misses with a head kick.
Stone lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stone lands a nice looking kick to the body. DeBlunt takes a step back to recover.
Stone tries to land a front kick but DeBlunt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Stone keeps DeBlunt at a distance using the push kick.
DeBlunt tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has DeBlunt pinned against the cage. DeBlunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
DeBlunt moves out of range as Stone throws a body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

DeBlunt is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Nice takedown defense from DeBlunt. No joy for Stone on that attempt.

DeBlunt loads up on a big right hand but Stone slips the punch.

Stone gets a double leg takedown into DeBlunt's guard.
Stone landing some decent shots from guard.
Stone postures up.
DeBlunt wants to control but Stone passes easily into half guard.
Stone passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for DeBlunt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stone working the ground and pound effectively.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Stone lands a big elbow.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stone cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


DeBlunt is rocked!

Stone looking to secure an arm triangle but DeBlunt defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DeBlunt is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stone connects with a bit shot that sees DeBlunt covering up! More strikes from Stone and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Stone is our winner by TKO!
