The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs throws a head kick but Roberts moves out of range.
Roberts is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jacobs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jacobs lands a head kick!
Roberts shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jacobs as he avoids it easily.
Jacobs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Roberts looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jacobs creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Roberts sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jacobs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Roberts, who protects the arm well.
Jacobs is working to tighten is grip on Roberts's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Roberts has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jacobs is really squeezing tight and eventually Roberts passes out! Jacobs breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
