Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sid Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auu Rite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage comes to the cage accompanied by the scatman. Sid Savage could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Auu Rite's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sid Savage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Auu Rite! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage looks to land a right hand but Rite moved out of range. Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rite moves away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Savage is defended easily by Rite. Savage cracks a nice hook into Rite's ribs. Rite lands with a hook. Savage tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sid Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rite manages to avoid it. Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rite moves away. Rite throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Savage throws a push kick but Rite slaps the foot to one side. Savage throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rite counters with a nice leg kick. Rite slips under a jab. Rite connects with a nice looking jab.
Savage thuds his right hand into Rite's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Auu Rite has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Savage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage misses with a shot to the body and Rite connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Savage misses with a lunging right hand
and Rite counters with an outside leg kick.
Savage misses with an uppercut. Rite saw that one coming. Savage throws a hook but Rite blocks it. Savage blocks a jab. Rite on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jab, jab by Rite - just one landing. Savage takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A jab from Savage misses. Rite connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A telegraphed right hand from Rite misses the target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rite lands a nice looking body kick. Rite gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Savage to score an easy takedown into full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rite can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Savage is looking to work some ground and pound but Rite has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savage with a flurry of punches that miss. Savage trying to control but Rite is working from the bottom. Savage working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Savage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rite controlling the position. Savage throwing strikes from guard but Rite blocks nicely. Rite looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Savage has picked Rite up and slammed him! Rite can't keep hold of the triangle and Savage manages to pass to side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savage is putting a hurting on Rite here, landing some big shots from side control. Rite takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Savage throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Savage working the body and head with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rite is looking to regain half guard here but Savage keeps moving and retains side control. Savage working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Savage throws an elbow but Rite slips to the side and avoids it well. Rite really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Savage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rite is looking to regain half guard here but Savage keeps moving and retains side control. Savage is putting a hurting on Rite here, landing some big shots from side control. Savage working the head and body with strikes.
Rite is rocked! A big shot lands for Savage! That's hurt Rite! Will he recover? Savage fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
